SENIOR PAID SEARCH SPECIALIST
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Paid Search Specialist to lead the hands-on execution, optimization, and strategic articulation of paid search programs across a portfolio of client accounts. You bring deep platform expertise, the ability to diagnose complex marketing challenges, and the confidence to communicate recommendations clearly to internal teams and client stakeholders.
You operate with a high level of ownership, proactively identifying performance opportunities, shaping testing agendas, and aligning tactical priorities to client business objectives. You provide subject-matter expertise, support cross-functional collaboration, and contribute to the advancement of team processes, tools, and best practices. You are a dependable partner who can independently manage work, elevate insights, and influence strategic thinking.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own end-to-end execution and optimization of Paid Search campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and relevant platforms.
- Analyze performance data to diagnose issues, uncover opportunities, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Develop testing roadmaps, including audience, bidding, creative, and structural experiments, to drive continuous improvement.
- Articulate how tactical actions connect to broader business and marketing goals, both internally and in client conversations.
- Produce high-quality reports, insights, and performance narratives that clearly explain impact and next steps.
- Serve as a thought partner to Paid Search Managers and Associate Directors in strategic planning conversations.
- Identify workflow gaps, process improvements, or automation opportunities and contribute to solution development.
- Provide informal mentorship to junior specialists, offering guidance on troubleshooting, analysis, and execution.
- Collaborate with creative, analytics, and client services teams to ensure integrated, aligned campaign execution.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- 2-4 years hands-on Paid Search experience managing complex, multi-platform campaigns.
- Advanced understanding of Google Ads & Microsoft Ads including campaign structure, bidding strategies, feed-based programs, audience layering, performance diagnostics, and automation tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and translate them into clear business implications.
- Experience developing and executing structured testing programs (ad copy, audiences, bidding, landing pages, etc.).
- Confident communicator with the ability to explain technical topics and performance insights to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to identify business problems, connect performance to client marketing goals, and propose recommended actions.
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including creative, analytics, and client service partners.
- Familiarity with analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Looker Studio) and data visualization best practices.
- Strong written communication with the ability to craft sharp insights, POVs, and rationale behind tactical decisions.
